Priyanka Chopra has reacted strongly in direction of the horrifying incident of two tribal girls being paraded bare in strife-hit Manipur. She demanded swift justice and punishment for the perpetrators whereas channelling the collective disgrace and anger in a unified voice.
““It took a video going viral… 77 days after the heinous crimes had been dedicated… Earlier than actions had been taken. Rationale? Causes? None matter–irrespective of what and why, situational or circumstantial, we can’t permit girls to be pawns in any video games,” she wrote on Instagram.
“The collective disgrace and anger must be channelled now in a unified voice for only one thing- swift justice,” she added with hashtags ‘collectively in disgrace’ and ‘justice for the ladies of Manipur,’” she added.


Earlier, Akshay Kumar, Urmila Matondkar, Sanjay Dutt, Kiara Advani, Ekta Kapoor, Jaya Bachchan, Richa Chadha, Renuka Shahane, Riteish Deshmukh amongst a number of others expressed their shock over a Could 4 video of the incident that came about at a village in Senapati district.
