Zero-Tolerance Approach: Modi govt to continue with its zero tolerance approach towards illegal immigration, says Amit Shah

NEW DELHI: The Narendra Modi authorities will proceed with its zero-tolerance method in the direction of unlawful immigration and is dedicated to shielding Bharat from this menace, Union Dwelling Minister Amit Shahstated on Thursday. Shah stated that pursuing Prime Minister Modi’s “imaginative and prescient of a secured Bharat,” the Nationwide Investigation Company has busted 5 worldwide human trafficking modules.
The operation, carried out concurrently throughout ten states, resulted in 44 arrests, he stated.
“Congratulations to staff NIA. The Modi authorities will proceed with its zero-tolerance method towards unlawful immigration and is dedicated to shielding the nation from this menace,” Shah wrote on ‘X’.
5 modules engaged in human trafficking had been busted and 44 operatives arrested by the NIA in nationwide raids on Wednesday.
The raids had been carried out in coordination with the Border Safety Pressure and state police forces at 55 areas in eight states and two Union territories to dismantle human trafficking help networks concerned within the infiltration and settlement of unlawful migrants throughout the Indo-Bangladesh border, a spokesperson of the NIA stated.
The searches had been carried out in Tripura, Assam, West Bengal, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Haryana, Rajasthan and the Union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Puducherry, dealing a giant blow to the human trafficking networks.
Of the 44 operatives arrested, 21 had been in Tripura, adopted by 10 in Karnataka, 5 in Assam, three in West Bengal, two in Tamil Nadu, and one every in Puducherry, Telangana, and Haryana.
