Netanyahu: Blinken, Netanyahu shelter in bunker amid air raid sirens in Tel Aviv

TEL AVIV: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sheltered in a bunker for 5 minutes on Monday when air raid sirens went off in Tel Aviv throughout their assembly, State Division spokesperson Matthew Miller mentioned.
All of the assembly members have since moved out of the bunker, resumed their assembly and had been going to a command middle at Israel’s protection ministry to proceed their discussions, he mentioned.
The incident occurred as President Joe Biden weighs a visit to the area himself amid an Israeli bombardment of Gaza after Hamas’ lethal assault on Israel 10 days in the past.
“Through the Secretary’s assembly with PM Netanyahu and the struggle cupboard, the air raid sirens went off they usually sheltered in bunker for 5 minutes,” Miller mentioned.
Blinken returned to Israel after an intense collection of visits with regional leaders to attempt to include the Israel-Hamas battle and safe humanitarian support and protected passage for US residents and civilians in Gaza.
