Philippines accuses China of intruding into its waters

MANILA: The Philippine overseas ministry on Thursday accused China of intruding into its waters after an incident at a disputed shoal within the South China Sea earlier this week.
China’s army had stated on Monday {that a} Philippine army ship “illegally entered” waters close to Scarborough Shoal.
“It’s China that’s intruding into Philippine waters,” the Philippine overseas affairs division stated in an announcement.
